Will (Tootsie) Tiblets passed from this life Friday, December 21, 2012. Services were held Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 2:00 pm at First United Methodist Church, Gordon, Texas. Burial followed in the Mt. Marion Cemetery, Strawn, Texas directed by Edwards Funeral Home, Strawn, Texas.
Will was born November 20, 1925 in Ranger, Texas to Bill and Addie Ross Green. She attended Mingus School. She married Bill Tiblets on July 11, 1943. He preceded her in death on January 29, 2002. She owned and operated Wills Café in Mingus Texas for many years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Gordon, Texas, The Mingus Women's Club, and The Gordon Community Food Pantry at Gordon.
She is survived by four sons: James and wife Tavia Tiblets, Billy and wife Kay Tiblets, Charles and wife Velda Tiblets and Larry and wife Christy Tiblets, four brothers: Bobby Green, Arthur Mann, Walter Mann, and J.F. Mann, one sister: Martha, seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. The family asks that memorials be made to Gordon Community Food Pantry, PO Box 46, Gordon, Texas 76453.
