Willis Clifford "Dub" Reasoner

March 4, 1930 — June 10, 2017

DUB PASSED FROM THIS LIFE INTO HIS NEW LIFE,
JUNE 10TH, 2017. HE WAS AN UNUSUALLY GOOD MAN, HUSBAND, FATHER,
FRIEND, AMERCIAN & TEXAN. HE LOVED GOD AND LOVED TO WORSHIP
WITH HIS CHRISTIAN FAMILY AT THE GORDON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH.
HE LOVED PEOPLE AND ANIMALS OF ALL KINDS. HE GREW UP IN MINERAL WELLS TEXAS AS A 20TH
CENTURY "HUCK FINN." HE LOVED BEING A BRICK YARDER FOR 47 YEARS, STARTING
OUT PICKING UP BRICK BATS AND BECOMING THE PRESIDENT OF MINERAL WELLS CLAY PROD. INC.
HE ENJOYED GOING TO WORK EVERYDAY FOR 47 YEARS. CAROLYN AND DUB WERE MARRIED FOR 65
YEARS. THEY RETIRED IN 1997 AND MOVED TO LAKE PALO PINTO.
DUB IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE CAROLYN,
CHILDREN BOBBIE TOWNSEND AND HUSBAND CRAIG, MARGARET NELL AND MARK PITTMAN,
GRANDCHILDREN MARCUS ANDREW REASONER AND SARAH PITTTMAN, MARTIN BRADLEY REASONER
AND MEREDITH PITTMAN, ANDREW THOMAS TOWNSEND AND AUSTIN WILLIAM TOWNSEND.
TWO GREAT-GRANDSONS, LUKE MALCOM PITTMAN AND LIAM MARCUS PITTMAN.

THE FAMILY WOULD LIKE TO THANK DR. TY GORE FOR HELPING US KEEP DUB AROUND FOR 87 YEARS.
WE WOULD ALSO LIKE TO THANK THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE AT PALO PINTO GENERAL HOSPITAL,
KINDRED HOME HEALTH AND FINALLY KINDRED HOSPICE. WITHOUT ALL THESE ANGELS WE COULDN’T
HAVE MADE IT THROUGH THIS MOST DIFFICULT TIME.
HE GENTLEY NURTURED AND LOVED HIS FAMILY. HIS GREATEST PLEASEURE WAS WATCHING
THE ONES HE LOVED ENJOY THEIR LIVES. HE LOVED TO TELL STORIES AND TALES AND TO MAKE PEOPLE
LAUGH. DUB’S LIFE WAS FILLED WITH LOVE, KINDNESS AND LAUGHTER. A LIFE WELL LIVED.

HIS MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE
AT THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF GORDON, TEXAS,
SATURDAY, JUNE 17TH AT 11:00 A.M.
VISITATION WILL BEGIN JUNE 17TH AT 9:30 – 10:45 A.M.,
IN THE CHAPEL. MEMORIAL DONATIONS MAY BE MADE TO KINDRED HOME HEALTH OR KINDRED HOSPICE
