Wince Graham, Jr, 92 of Abilene and formerly of Eastland went home to be with his Heavenly Father, Friday, July 7, 2017 in Abilene. Services will be 10:30 am Tuesday, July 11th at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Eastland. A visitation will be 9-10:30 am before the service. Burial will follow at Eastland City Cemetery
Wince was born April 28, 1925 in Pyote, TX to Wince Graham, Sr and Lila Lena (Morton) Graham. He married Juanita Holt on January 5, 1944 in San Diego, CA. She preceded him in death on November 29, 2013. He enlisted into the Marines in 1943, then served as a Medic in the Navy throughout WWII. He returned to battle in the Korean War, serving in the Army. Wince loved the Marines as they held a special place in his heart. He worked for Mobil Oil for 33 years in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. He was a member of the Church of Christ, and will be remembered as a devoted Christian who loved the Lord and his family and a selfless person who put others before himself.
Wince is survived by daughters, Susan Graham of Abilene, TX and Terri Lynn McClanahan and husband Ken of Blanchard, OK; 3 brothers, Larry Graham of Abilene, TX, Mike Graham of Vidor, TX, and Paul Sturm of Vidor, TX; sister, Wanda Guess of Ranger, TX.; 2 granddaughters, Heather Ooley and husband Mark and Heidi Ray and husband Stacey; and 3 great grandchildren, Kyle Ooley, Colton Ray, and Kiersten Ray. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother, John Graham; and sisters, Modell Gann and Imogene Gaylor.
